A Day of gratitude
towards THE IMPORTANT ASPECTS that shaped our LIFE
Its known by all
that is celebrated in honor of Great Teacher, Preacher and former
President of INDIA Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, as it was his
birthday. Teacher is that responsible person who has a lion's share
in shaping human being. On this day as on Guru Pornima, we fondly
remember almost all the teachers, and we also remember few teachers
we are not so fond of, to be precise with a haterate.
a MAKE or BREAK
situation
As potter shapes the
clay to form shaped and sized variety of pots, teacher shapes the
soul with his/her guidance. We hear these stories how a teacher
shaped the life of greats in positive way, Eg. Sachin Ramesh
Tendulkar and his gratitude towards Ramakant Achrekar and His Brother
Ajit. We also have heard how few have made it great though criticized and looked down by their teachers, likes of Albert
Einstein. These all are success stories. But we don’t get to know
the failure stories. No one loves to share them, but those too are
present and unfortunately with higher ratio.
What Makes a
TEACHER? WHO Exactly is a teacher?
A person who helps
us learn and guides us is a teacher. A person who enlightens us with
knowledge and responsibilities of self and towards others. A person
who influences us, both to be like him and not to be like him.
What Makes a GOOD
TEACHER?
The person who is a
TEACHER who helps us learn the DECISION MAKING SKILL with clear
justification of good decision and not so good decision. Who helps us
learn the analysis, self evaluation and Understanding. The person who
builds us a Culturally GOOD HUMAN BEING yet keeping our INDIVIDUALITY
intact in us.
HARSH REALITY
We have numerous
teachers, but VERY FEW are GOOD TEACHERS, and RARE are the GREAT.
TO Be A GREAT
TEACHER YOU MUST Be At Least A GOOD STUDENT.
The person who can
transfer learning as a skill that is how to be a good student to his
pupils, friends, family, Society as a whole is a GREAT TEACHER. GREAT
TEACHER is a person who guides us to face difficulties with courage
and enthusiasm, and motivates us to find and learn from all adverse
situations including a bad teacher.
Without the CORE
UNDERSTANDING of Need of EDUCATION, and without transferring this
core ideology of Education there can be no good teacher.

to all the teachers who imparted this priceless valuable skill set to
me. Fortunately I was blessed to have a wonderful teacher like you.
